UK Nostalgia Superstock Association
The UKSA committee are pleased to announce upcoming dates for the 2017 dragracing season. UKSA is a new but greatly expanding race series that has only been in existence for 5 years. It was the idea of Pete Walton and his mate Jim Chandler, who both broke their cars at Dragstalgia and so decided they were going to race each other every year, and share the trophy for winner and runner up. However, word got out, so Pete had to set up and start running a proper series. The look and feel of the class was to relive the heydays of stock and superstock racing of the 60’s and 70’s. It is a bracket racing dial in class, running 14.99 to 9.00, so something for quick street cars to hard-hitting track cars. First it was only at Dragstalgia, then as it became more and more popular, more dates were added to the calendar until now in 2017 there are 8 confirmed dates that are:

21/04/2017 - 23/04/2017 Big Bang Camper & Bus Show, Santa Pod
29/04/2017 - 01/05/2017 MSA/ACU Springspeed Nationals, SCR
27/05/2017 – 29/05/2017 York Raceway, York
24/06/2017 - 25/06/2017 Summer Nationals, Santa Pod
14/07/2017 - 16/07/2017 Dragstalgia, Santa Pod
28/07/2017 - 30/07/2017 24th Mopar Euro Nationals, Santa Pod
26/08/2017 - MSA/ACU Open Sport Nationals, SCR
23/09/2017 - 24/09/2017 National Finals, Santa Pod
The points will be allocated from your best 5 rounds, so even if you can’t make all 8 rounds you still have a good chance of winning. To be eligible to race all you need is a pre-1980 American V8 car that can run between 14.99- 9.00 E.T, and to be a fully paid up member of UKNSA. A basic outline of the rules is: stock style suspension, max 10” rim, max 10.5” slick, no back halved cars or power adders. The full list of rules, regulations and safety requirements can be found on the UKNSA web site
